Your appointment

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email.

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

To cancel your appointment:

Additional General Practice appointments are available to all patients registered within the Wigan borough through the Enhanced Access Service where the staff are working with the practice to provide an extension to Primary Care services. Appointments are available from 6.30pm - 8pm Monday to Friday and from 10am - 4pm on weekends and on bank holidays. There are GP appointments available as well as smear appointments with a Nurse.

The Enhanced Access Service operates from various locations across the Wigan Borough.

Appointments can be requested during the week by contacting us, or by calling 01942 482848.

If you contact us by phone at the weekend or on a bank holiday between the hours of 8am and 6pm you will be automatically connected to the Enhanced Access Service, outside of these hours and when the Practice is closed you will be asked to hang up and dial NHS 111.

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need. To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice as soon after 8am as possible on 01942 243649. You can also:
